i've many firmware for atj22*9... original and modded, dowloaded datasheet for atj2279b... some good software tool for modify fw allowing many things... driver for both way usb mass-storage and adfu and so.

Now media product tool 5.4, under windows xp, see my console ATJ2279b in usb mode, but I'm in trouble with this.
Boot / adfu mode where is? In ATJ2259 is simple, there is pin "ADFU" labelled to bridge. But here?
Where are pin 29 and 30?

So i can backup before tryng some new firmware.

at this moment i have only firmware allow to read:
- .SFW
- .GBA
- .SFC
- many neogeo mame romset .ZIP
- all mame romset capcom cps1/cps2 .ZIP
- playstation 1 image (.ccd/.img)

Sega master system (and not Genesis-megadrive), Sega game gear, Game boy, Game boy color, PCEngine, CBS colecovision are available through SUB-emulator mounted in GBA roms. Here to dl emulator for GBA.

hi brother, you're right ...your device is ATJ2279b - MOBO zx-8280p-9b2b v2.2 - ccd 0307 and my device is MOBO: zx-8219P-9B2B-v2.2 2011-11-29 and Firmware version: 1.1.10.110826

My device not played games ps1 of none, i assumed that my hardware is more slow, for that thing this firmware doesn't work correctly in my device although my device, played and have port mini-HDMI to 720P. Not risk to flash, but the page that your send me is very cool... at least not for now je je.

if your is 2259, i don't think my custom firmware for at2279b can works on 2259c. So you should not able to read playstation 1 games.
But i can provide you a firmware for 2259 from a similar console, ritmix zx-42, that maybe read ".nes", ".md" (megadrive or genesis), ".gb", ".gbc" in native way.

yes man, that is correct, what happens is that I have two devices on ATJ2279b, and the other ATJ2259c. ATJ2279b device I bought recently and it works well, and what I have ATJ2259c bricked device, only recognized in the computer as winADFU and do not find that firmware:

i don't know if touchscreen version, but if isn't good, i have others for your pleasure.

For your ATJ2279b working, if you want (your risks ever), i can get instead my firmware allowing Playstation 1 (.ccd/.img) and a complete easy management for NEOGEO/CAPCOM games (no trash preinstalled!) in ".zip". Assure that you use 1700 mah battery on this fw.

Firmware KO W6000 (tested on chinese console ATJ2279b on mobo zx-8280p-9b2b v2.2 (2011-11-14) and 0307 ccd sensor):

Extra software in bundle (dictionaries and mini flash games touch preinstalled):

hello negronomicon , I've tried some firmware you sent me, and some that Snipper, and Rebel, put some posts, but I have not been lucky, because it lasts almost three hours and the program says FAILS. This is the procedure performed for the device Atj2259c:

Steps I followed
1)start tool 5.40 > settings > Plus data to hide area >select Dir Desktop >ok
2)tool 5.40> import firmware file> xxxx.fw >ok >replace> ok >
Connected device via usb cable, Shows me 2 devices connected.
3)Select <Download>
4)5.40 tool makes two .img files
5)5.40 tool then goes to aprox 10% progress but gets stuck
6) see LOG file down of 5.40 tool .

depending. By pc, if you have others tasks actives (never do this! when you flash, you must have a "clear" session).

My modded firmware ko-6000 about 5-7... max 10 minutes (with his game in flash added in hidearea)

Others firmware max 5 minutes.
